MEASUREMENTS |
| |
| Liquid ounces converted into other
measurements. |
| |
| 20 drops - 1/3 teaspoon - 1 ml |
| 100 drops - 1 teaspoon - 5 ml |
| 2 teaspoons - 10 ml |
| 3 teaspoons - 1 tablespoon - 15 ml |
| 2 tablespoons - 30 ml |
| |
| 15 drops of essential oil in one tablespoon
of a carrier oil will give you a 5% dilution. |
| |
| These measurements are NOT exact since the
size of the dropps may vary and some essential oils are
thicker than others, but close enough for safe practice. |
| |
WHEN USING THE
ESSENTIAL OILS ALWAYS DILUTE THEM |
| |
| 1 drop of an essential oil will not go far,
but using a vegetable oil the essential oil will cover
a larger area as well as reducing the risk of having a
sensitive reaction. |
