Service Description

Spider Woman is the First Nations Creatrix, Weaver of the web of Life, She who sings the fabric of being into existence. Spider Woman is the original Creatrix and spinner of worlds and universes into existence. She is sacred to several Southwest Native American tribes including the Hopi, Pueblo peoples, Apache and Navaho. Her stories abound and she is known by many names including Spider Grandmother and Spider Woman. She spun a Web from East to West, from North to South, then sang a song so very deep and sweet that all beings spring into existence with Her song. She spins yet with us – her thread is attached to a small doorway at the top of our heads. It is said that those who remember to keep that doorway open will benefit from her wisdom and protection. We are all connected to the Web of Life and Net of Light through her weaving. Come learn the deeper story of Her Wisdom with us.
