THE HEALING POWERS OF CRYSTALS AND GEMS
Crystals can be used for healing and clearing energy. We will show you how to choose your crystals, clear them properly, the various crystals that contain properties used for healing and raising your spiritually and much more. Presented by Betty deMaye-Caruth and Sally Rothacker-Peyton, it is based on information taught by Oh'Shinnah Fastwolf and other teachers.
It will include:
- Selecting crystals for your personal use and gifting crystals
- How do you care for your crystals?
- Discuss using crystals for general healing.
- How are Crystals being used currently as well as in the past.
- Major forms/types of crystals and the energy they hold.
- Using crystals for meditation, healing and in jewelry.
Do Crystals call to you? Have you worn them as jewelry or used them in the work you do or in your daily life? Each participant will go home with a crystal!

CREATE YOUR PERSONAL MEDICINE BAG
Medicine bags are made for specific needs ..... healing, power and/or protection. In this class you will be crafting and creating your own medicine bag along with placing items in the bag that are helpful and have meaning for you. Supplies will be provided, however, you can personalize these bags with your own items according to your need(s). A ceremony will be held at the end of class to clear the energies around your medicine bag. We recommend that you spend some time before class thinking about your journey on this path.

REIKI LEVEL 1
Learn or refresh your knowledge of Reiki I.
Learn this hands-on healing art based on the belief that there is a Universal Life Energy present everywhere that, when channeled properly, can be used to promote healing and balance body, mind and spirit.
Participants will be attuned to the Reiki energy and practice self treatments promote healing and balance body, mind and spirit.
Reiki is a Japanese word which means Universal Life Energy. It is a natural healing system that transmits energy through the hands of the practitioner to the client. The person receiving the treatment will only accept as much energy as the body needs. It is non-invasive, gentle, and done with the client fully clothed. When there is a blockage or imbalance in one part of the chakra system, it has an impact on all the other chakras. Imbalances occur when there is too much or too little energy flowing through the chakras. By understanding how each chakra affects a particular body function and life issue, it is possible to identify where a chakra is malfunctioning. Various techniques can then be used to balance the chakra system and restore health in the individual physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. Holding negative thoughts causes chakras to become dirty with dense, dark energy. This prevents chakras from providing sufficient vital energy for the body. Unbalanced or “blocked” chakras create a whole range of mental, emotional, and physiological conditions.

REIKI LEVEL II
Reiki 1 teaches the healing of oneself. In Reiki 2, the participant will learn the symbols used in the healing of yourself and if your choose others, how to give a Reiki Treatment and techniques for long distance healing. A Reiki Level 2 attunement will be given to each participant. Prerequisite Reiki Level 1.
